Krista’s client Shelby knew just what to do to refresh her home’s exterior facade, but struggled to get anything she liked to grow in her garden’s barren soil. Years of poor maintenance had taken its toll, leaving the front of her beautiful home less than inviting. Krista helped Shelby achieve the tropical feel she wanted with colorful, large-textured plants perfectly suited for her San Diego climate and site conditions.
BEFORE: A typical “builders lot” void of top soil was a difficult growing condition for the lush and colorful garden Shelby wanted.
AFTER: Lush texture, color and interest were restored. The plants became even more healthy with the infusion of organic amendments that will continue to improve the soil and plant health over time.
